It’s that time of year again!  Rotary District 6250 is now accepting applications for Youth Exchange for the school year of 2019-20.  For more information, visit our WEBSITE.
ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2019-20
  • Not YOUNGER than 15.5 on August 1, 2019
  • Not OLDER than 18.5 on August 1, 2019
  • A minimum of 2.75 GPA or student ranking in the top 50% of class

The Application Process (Student)

STEP 1.
   
Talk with your parents and get their approval and support
STEP 2.
 
Complete the Preliminary Application Online
STEP 3.
 
You are contacted by a Rotary Representative
STEP 4.
 
You are connected with a Local Rotary Club which will sponsor you
STEP 5.
 
You and your family are interviewed by your local Rotary Club representative
STEP 6.
 
You are given the link to start the Full Application Online
STEP 7.
 
Start the working on the Supplemental Documents (Read Instructions)
STEP 8.
 
Make apphttps://portal.clubrunner.ca/50254/page/rotary-youth-exchange-(outbound)ointment for a physical with your doctor
STEP 9.
 
Make appointment for a checkup with your dentist
STEP 10.
 
Get a copy of your birth certificate.  It must be validated/issued on or AFTER JUNE 1
STEP 11.
 
Apply for a passport or renew your passport if it expires on or before December 31 the year you return
STEP 12.
 
Complete the Full Application Online
STEP 13.
 
Complete the Application Supplemental Documents (sent via email link)
STEP 14.
 
Attend the District Outbound Orientation Interviews (First Sunday of November)
STEP 15.
 
Acceptance or Rejection notification takes place 1-2 days after interviews
STEP 16.
