Member Paul Patenaude gave us a rebroadcast of his talk of a few months ago on his tour of the Holy Land. We had technical issues last time, but this time we had full visuals. He walked us through the various hiking routes he took, the rich agricultural lands, the barren spaces, and the rich archaeological sites which were a primary interest to him. He also spoke admiringly of the people he met on his trip. He made this presentation originally a couple of months ago, but our computer was under lock and key … some kind of hostage situation apparently. Well, we had the computer, we had the projector, and Paul reprised his presentation with a collection of slides from his journey.
